Very nice restaurant. The individual tables are separated from each other by a privacy screen or flowers. So you have the feeling of sitting in a kind of "private room". Very pleasant. We ordered two dishes from the menu of the day, the portion sizes were sufficient and, most importantly, very tasty.

Great good and value for money. Dishes could be a bit hotter but the rest was good. Very friendly service.

The food wasn't the only thing that amazed us in this inn! Of course, I love to try out new places and I'm constantly looking for new places to eat, but I will remain loyal to this inn. The staff was quick, clean and friendly. The place is always nice and we had a wonderful afternoon there Seating is extremely pleasant and I find the distance between the tables very reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of having dinner like cucumber in a can.

The best sushi ever. The lunch menu is particularly recommended because it is incredibly cheap and still offers the best quality. The staff is very friendly and inside you can sit in a modern but cozy atmosphere. Always my pleasure.

Excellent price, quality and quantity relation. Day Du is a very nice option to dine Asian Food in Aachen. We had an appetizers platter, a ramen dish with duck and a soup. All three dishes were excellent. The service was very good.

The food was very delicious. From starter to the drinks, every dish was great. However the restaurant didn't follow the Corona regulations imposed by the government. We were sitting very close to other guests and the restaurant didn't ask us to leave our contact information. Any other restaurants in Aachen were following the rules but not Day Du. We realized this problem only after we left the restaurant. I hope if the owner read my review, they should change their way of handling Corona pandemic.

Always come here to eat sushi. Very tasty, great quality. Prices are more than justified for this quality.

We order vegetarian sushi and tempura vegetarian sushi (or something like that, I don't precisely remember the menu name) and summer role. For the summer role i didn't expect it would be so big hahaha, i thought it would be like normal size of appetizer. But it was suuper tasty. Music wasn't really loud, place was clean, which is very good. What i don't like is instead of going directly to the kitchen and talk to staff there, the order taker was like shouting from the dining area, it's quite a no from me. But aside of that everything was good

We were at Day Du on Wednesday evenings and were very pleasantly surprised. There was a lot going on, but it is still very quiet in the restaurant. I cannot understand the criticism regarding the prices, it is obviously a little more expensive, but the portions are very large, the food is classy and tastes fantastic! The service was also very courteous. We would love to come back.

Have often been here for lunch with colleagues. Great price. Delicious! The sushi is also very good, although this is not a Japanese restaurant. I can only recommend it and would eat here again and again. Lunch from 8.90 euros!

It is a nice and cozy restaurant. Food was good with the quality. Very tasty and nothing to fault. Unfortunately, staff did not speak good German. We also had a pin problem. One could only pay by pin with a German card. Unfortunately we only have a Dutch bank card. So if this is the situation with you, take cash with you. (: after payment, a member of staff and other change did not like to give back .. otherwise the quality of the food was very good.

Highly recommended Asian restaurant in Aachen. We had ordered the starter platter to start with. It was so huge that after the starter platter, the two of us were almost full. We wanted to try the starters and all the starters we wanted to try were available here. Due to the size, the starter platter was really cheap. Then we had a mixed sushi platter. The rice was really well seasoned, the rolls well filled and really nicely arranged. Just great. Also try the homemade lemonades. Not that cheap, but very tasty. We have been to this restaurant several times and will definitely come back.

High quality Asian cuisine with plenty of choice that doesn't overwhelm you. I find the menu selection very pleasant. Each dish is really lovingly put together, creative and also looks and tastes good. The sushi tastes very good and is created with fresh ingredients. Fast service and friendly service.

Such amazing food! We had the sushi plate for 4 and Day Du Curry. Both was fantastically delicious. We even considered to order another plate. The waiters were nice. Just the music could have bit cozier.

I think this is the best Sushi place in Aachen. It may be seen a bit more expensive compared to other places on the first sight when you look on the menu. But it is NOT, when you see your plate. I could very fairly say per quality and quantity it's cheaper than other places. And it is worth every penny. Very fresh, very delicious, top quality ingredients are generously used by the chefs. Relaxing, very nice ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended to far east cuisine and sushi lovers.

The restaurant looks very high end and the food backs it up, also the waiters are very friendly. It's a bit on the pricy side but as said the food is very good. Definitely worth a visit.

Were here tonight. It was awesome, really delicious, my daughter thought it was a shame to swallow and was actually emotional. The coconut soups were also very tasteful. Portions very generous.

Nice place in the heart of Aachen. Not too crowded. Very friendly team. The sushi are fresh, but for my personal taste not traditional. It's tasty, but probably not a Japanese way of cooking.

Business lunches are affordable. The food is delicious and the quality is super. The seasoning is very suitable for western sushi. Even people who are used to Japanese sushi will accept it. My friend and I ordered a bowl of N4 Vietnamese Beef Pho, and M1 sushi set. No matter which set is very cost-effective, even if there are no specials to eat on weekdays, it's worth it. The beef and noodle soup tastes authentic, at least similar to the noodle shop opened by my hometown Vietnamese, and the sushi and rice portions are really delicious and the contents are fresh. This is the first time my friend and I have eaten avocado sushi. It is much better than we thought, and the avocado sushi is soaked in soy sauce, it really has the taste of anchovy. When you go at noon, there are not many people in the store (probably because you are not in the main shopping street). The dining environment is very good. You can choose your own location after you go in. It is very suitable for couples to change their mood and enjoy. What kind of ethnic group is suitable for a shop to come together. The design and decoration are tasteful, if you have the opportunity to visit again, I would like to try curry dishes.

Please, go to that restaurant. I moved from Aachen to Klagenfurt and when I come back I want that this restaurant still exists. The sushi is soo good. It can compete even with the sushi in Düsseldorf (Japans biggest immigration center in Europe). Aachen didn't have seen such a good sushi restaurant in years and they have other good things, too!

My partner and I are huge food lovers, especially of Asian fusion! We have been to every Asian restaurant in Aachen, and let me tell you how happy we are with having found this hidden gem. The interior is tastefully decorated, giving a very warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu was long, but without being overwhelming. You can choose from a big range of Asian dishes: from soups like Pho and Mien, to Curries, to Sushi and Sashimi. We had the Day Du Tapas mix and it was incredible! We also had the Seetang salad, which was garnished with salmon sashimi - I have been to Japan four times and can gladly say, that this was the best sashimi I have ever tasted. We also ordered a variety of Sushi, like the Hotate Gai, Freestyle and Day Du roll. It arrived all on one plate and it was an incredible sight to behold: I actually thought it was from one of those Netflix cooking shows! Everything was extremely aesthetically pleasing (please see the Instagram-worthy pictures I took :p). But the taste. Oh sweet savory Jesus, the taste. I might have died and gone to heaven. As for dessert, we were so full and had the rest of our Sushi preprared in a doggy bag, which we will enjoy this evening at home. But the waiter brought us some delicious mandarins to enjoy instead ? The prices were actually really good for the high quality and the huge portions! I have no words to describe how much I would recommend this restaurant to you and hope to see it flourish! We will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu! A big big thank you to the great chef who also came to the table to ask us personally if everything was alright. It was more than alright, you beautiful man, it was perfect. For future visitors: because the restaurant opened only recently in like December 2018, it was cash only during our visit. Ask in advance and you should experience no problems ? (although there is a Sparkasse and Deutsche Bank near the restaurant, so don’t worry)

Longer review to follow. This is the best, really the best Vietnamese Japanese fusion restaurant in Aachen. OK, it's the only one??. We did not know where to start n the Menue. All looked amazing on paper. And the the a shock when the food came, it was even better in reality. I think the pictures speak for themselve. As said more to come, since now I have to digest this amazing dinner. I will sleep happy and content tonight. Thank you for an amazing dinner.

Incredible and unlikely good store. Food, drink, service and ambience are a dream! Must have seen and tasted! I could go there every day. I actually got to know this new place as an Aachener by visiting from Vienna ☺️

Have eaten there very delicious. We had a small salmon appetizer which was super fresh and delicious. The homemade sauce was very good. As a main course we had the sushi for two. Again, everything fresh, very well prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and nice the whole concept is worth the price. We would like to come again.
